Promoting a region means building a narrative capable of connecting identity, experiences, and people. This talk compares three complementary perspectives: local territorial promotion, based on enhancing communities and local uniqueness; broader-scale regional promotion, through the storytelling of a destination like Emilia; and the role of guides as tools for discovery and outreach. Three different yet converging approaches that show how strategies, content, and networks can make a territory more attractive, recognizable, and authentic to visitors.
